I use InDesign for adding bleed and exporting image to CMYK (from RGB)
For this video I used Ipad + procreate to design the card and creature
normally I would use a watercolour sketch + Krita on my PC
A Pokemon card is 63 x 88 mm, but it’s easier to test print with business card sized cards and A7 postcards.

  1. Um. I have a question, what marker did you use when drawing the creature? Just asking bc I couldn't find any useful markers in procreate xD also very cool art :O

  2. Hey Dina, what Ipad would you recommend for beginners? I just getting started to draw, like what would you say is the bare minimum?

  3. i must say i love detailed backgrounds they invoke wonder and wanting to know more about where the creature is from 🙂

  4. Love love LOVED this!! (Side note, if you're on a Mac you can use "screen record" with Quicktime to capture your computer a lil better. Hope that helps!) But this was amazing to watch!

  5. Funny thing is you overlooked something when it comes to card sizes, sleeves and binder sheets. Pokemon and other games have a specific size for the reason of products that support them, if the card is too small, it'll fall out, and if it's too big it just won't fit.

Just thought it was important to point this out.
